One Outs S01

The story begins when Hiromichi Kojima, the star player of the legendary Lions in Japan's professional league, heads to an island in southern Japan called Okinawa to train and have some freedom, where he meets Toichi Toa, a pitcher who throws at 134 kilometers per hour and is also the undefeated king of a baseball-based gambling game called "One Outs". Due to Kojima's enthusiasm, Toichi signs a strange contract with the Lions: for every out he gets, he will be paid 5 million yen (US$46,000), and for every out he loses, he will have to pay 50 million yen (US$460,000).
